Knipz it! is built to be safe for families. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising, no social sharing, and no location tracking.

What stays on your device

Photos you take or import while making a book, your finished books, and your settings are stored locally on your device. We don't upload or have access to your photos.

What we access

• Camera and photo library — to let you take or choose photos for your book. Only used when you tap to add a photo.
• Microphone — required by the system camera component for video recording, though the app itself only takes photos.

What we store on our servers

Book content (story text and prompts) is served from our database so the app can load and update stories. This content isn't tied to you personally — we don't store your name, photos, or any personal identifier alongside it.

If you redeem an early-access code, we store the code, an approximate location (city/country, from your IP address) and a random per-device identifier, so we can manage access to unreleased content. This only happens if you actively enter a code — it isn't part of normal app use.

Children's privacy

Knipz it! is designed for children to use together with an adult, not on their own. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no chat, comments, or way to contact other users.
